Basildon And Thurrock University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

Basildon and Thurrock University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides services for 405,000 people living across south-west Essex and operates two main hospitals; Basildon University Hospital and Orsett Hospital as well as offering diagnostic services including x-rays at the St Andrew’s Centre in Billericay.

The Trust is also home to the Essex Cardiothoracic Centre. Basildon University Hospital is the trusts main site, offering a 24-hour A&E department and maternity services, whereas the Orsett Hospital houses a specialist cancer ward and also offers day surgery.
