Mental Health

Serving a population of over 3.5 million, North West Boroughs Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust provides community health, mental health and learning disability services across Halton, Knowsley, St Helens, Warrington, Wigan and Bolton, and includes running four walk-in treatment centres.

The trust provides inpatient mental health care for adults for which patients need to be referred by a GP. Other services provided by the trust include children and adolescent mental health, learning disability community team, Macmillan nursing and community therapy. They also support their partners in providing support to people in the Criminal Justice System.
