Blackwater Law recently sponsored and attended Headway Essex’s Coronation Ball 2023.
Members of the Blackwater Law team enjoyed a fantastic evening at Headway Essex’s Coronation Ball, held at The Fennes, in Braintree.
The team enjoyed a fantastic evening of food, drink, and a charity auction. Lots included signed football shirts, weekends away and even being taken into the sky in a glider!
The evening was rounded off with live music and a visit from a royal impersonator.
Headway Essex provides support for people in Essex who are living with an acquired brain injury. Their aim is to help adults to live a fulfilling life and be able to cope with the challenges that come with living with an acquired brain injury.
Headway Essex has two hubs, in Colchester and Benfleet, where they help to deliver services
and activities designed to help adults deal with their conditions.
In Essex alone, someone is admitted to the hospital every 58 minutes with an acquired brain injury. Some of those will either be through medical negligence or an accident. That is where Blackwater Law can help.
For those living with an acquired brain injury, life can be completely turned upside down. To help deal with the effects of a brain injury, someone may need specialist care, and specialist equipment or may have to make significant changes to their professional life. Some may have to stop working altogether.
Blackwater Law is committed to helping support those who can make a compensation claim, to help support them in the future. We will be continuing to support Headway Essex in the future, helping to deliver support to brain injury survivors in Essex.
Commenting on the sponsorship of the Headway Essex Ball, Partner and Head of Medical Negligence said, “It was a privilege to support and sponsor this fantastic event held by Headway Essex.
At Blackwater Law, we are excited to continue our partnership with Headway Essex and support the crucial service that they provide for people living with acquired brain injuries.”
