Blackwater Law strengthens its relationship with Headway Essex – Classic Vehicle Show 2024

Headway Essex’s Classic Vehicle Show is an event held each year in Colchester’s Castle Park, to raise money for Headway Essex’s work in supporting those living with acquired brain injuries (ABI).

An ABI is an injury to the brain that has occurred since birth, which could be caused by a physical external force or by metabolic causes like a stroke or toxic substances.

The event is a chance for Classic Vehicle lovers to showcase their vehicles to the public who can see a range of cars from motoring classics to modern supercars. The show also provides a variety of other entertainment, such as food stalls, children’s entertainment, and live music.

Who are Headway Essex?

Headway Essex are an independent charity, dedicated to providing support to people living with acquired brain injuries (ABI), as well as their families, in Essex. Their mission is to ensure that all those living with an ABI in Essex can live a full life and assist their families in coping with their care needs.

They provide both physical and emotional support to address the multitude of needs a person living with a brain injury may experience. They visit their clients in hospitals, as well as at their home if need be.

Headway Essex has two support centres, one in Colchester and another in Benfleet, South Essex.
