Nathan joined Blackwater Law in September 2018 taking on the responsibility and role of an in-house costs draftsman, focussing on Complex Multi-Track Claims for the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence team.
Nathan studied Business and Law at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge.
He gained initial experience over a 4-year period at a Hertfordshire based costs consultants dealing with a broad range of issues for receiving party costs, including: Fast Track Personal Injury, RTA’s, Clinical Negligence, Housing Disrepair and Judicial Review matters.
In addition, Nathan gained further experience in a leading costs consultant in London for two years where he dealt with Complex Multi-Track Clinical Negligence cases, Legal Aid Immigration Claims and Court of Protection Matters. This meant he undertook all aspects of receiving party costs.
Nathan joined Blackwater Law in 2018 as an in-house costs draftsman for the clinical negligence team. He now handles the majority of cases for the team and is able to deal with all aspects of the costs process, including; Cost Budgets, CCMC’s, Electronic/Standard Bills, Negotiations and Detailed Assessment Process.
