Formed in 2017 from a merger of North Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust and South Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust, Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust provides a variety of services across Essex, Bedfordshire, Suffolk and Luton, serving a population of approximately 1.3 million people.

As well as providing community health services across the region, the trust provides specialist care with in the mental health and learning disabilities sector. Managing services within 10 hospitals and numerous clinics and community healthcare centres, the trust offers services such as mental health inpatient care, cancer support and community learning disability support.
