The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust

A tertiary cancer centre, The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust provide non-surgical care to patients affected by cancer.

The trust supports people across Cheshire, Merseyside, the Isle of Man and surrounding areas but providing radiotherapy treatment at a centre in Aintree and chemotherapy treatment in seven district hospitals, as well as delivering treatment in people’s own homes. The trust also offers low-energy proton beam therapy used to treat rare eye cancers. The trust also hosts the Teenage and Young Adult unit for the area. In addition, they have a strong research and development department and host a number of clinical trials.
