The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest NHS Trusts in the country and provides care to those across the North East.

The Trust provides services across six 6 sites; The Freeman Hospital, The Royal Victoria Infirmary, the Campus of Ageing and Vitality, Newcastle Dental Hospital, Newcastle Fertility Centre and Northern Genetics Service. The Royal Victoria Infirmary has a 24-hour A&E department, large maternity unit an infectious diseases unit and is the sole provider in the local region of Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancer. In addition, the Royal Victoria Infirmary is also home to the Great North Children’s Hospital, one of only 14 major children’s medical centres in the UK.
