Mental Health

Looking to improve the services available to mental health patients, West London NHS Trust makes research a priority and works with a number of universities for this purpose.

The trust are also a foundering partner in the Institute of Mental Health along with Bucks New University. In terms of practical care, the trust provides both community and inpatient mental health care in Ealing, Hounslow and Hammersmith and Fulham. In the London Borough of Brent, the trust provides child and adolescent mental health services. The trust also provides support to the criminal justice system where it is believed that someone’s mental health may have contributed to their offending.
